My path to becoming a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner has been a winding one. I’ve noticed two things along this journey: the first is that I’ve been blessed with professional roles that I’ve loved and grown in; the second is that I manifest whatever I set my mind to. My professional career started in the military, following in my parent’s footsteps.

After that, I found myself working in an administrative capacity in the field of chiropractic medicine. It was there that I realized that I wanted to take a more active role in the healing community. In 2007, I completed my Healing Touch Level 1 and Level 2 courses. During this time, I continued to hone my skills and studying while practicing on friends, family and myself as part of my own self-care. I continued to feel called to do more with Healing Touch and in 2019, I completed Level 3 followed by Levels 4 and 5 in 2020.

By 2021, I chose to develop myself full time to my Healing Touch pursuit and in February 2022, I successfully passed my certification exam making me a Board-Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. I know that my learning path doesn’t stop here and will be a life- long pursuit. My curiosity drives me to learn more about what I know now is my true path: helping people to heal through accessing the energy within and around them.

Adding to my toolbox of knowledge to be an informed energy medicine practitioner brings me – and those around me – joy. My Qualifications & Experience The Healing Touch Governing Committee certifies that I have met the requirements and qualifications, and I have been awarded the Board Certified Credential of Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP) effective February 8, 2022!

• I hold an NCCA Accredited Credential

• Healing Touch Program (HTP) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

• I am awarded a HTP Certificate on a regular basis when I renew my qualifications as an Instructor’s Helper in the classroom for Levels 1 through 4.

My volunteer experience to-date has been with several professional organizations which includes: Volunteer Director Society of Healing Touch Program Alberta (SHTPA) 2019-2020, Director of Bursaries, Canadian Healing Touch Foundation (CHTF) 2019 to-date. I am also a member of the Healing Touch Professional Association (HTPA, and the Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation (HTWF).

• Now that I am a HTCP, I am qualified to be an Instructor’s Helper for the HTP Level 5 classes.

• Over 200+ hours of Continuing Education

• Over 900 hours of Practicum Training prior to my Certification
